F.A.Q including Delivery


What is Happy Post?

All orders come safely boxed with your items inside paper bags, sealed with cute washi tape, wrapped in pretty, co-ordinated tissue paper with a hand written note and a little thank you freebie. They are perfect for giving as a gift as they are, in which case leave a note at checkout so that we leave out the invoice. 

How much is postage?

Please note that currently we only send to UK addresses, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland. Minimum order value is £2 before postage, maximum order value is £199.00. 

At checkout you may be given the option of choosing recorded (signed for) delivery or standard. Very large orders will be sent recorded as a matter of course with huge orders being sent special delivery.


All orders are posted first class or special delivery, depending on value.  

Postage starts from £2.10.


Is there a minimum order value?

Minimum order value is £2.00 excluding postage and packing.

How quickly will you dispatch my order?

Orders will be dispatched within 2/3 working days, often much sooner. Currently orders are posted 3 times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Orders placed before 9am on these days will usually be posted the same day. Orders placed on Sunday will be posted on Monday of course. 

Do you send overseas?

Currently we only ship to the United Kingdom, including the channel islands and Northern Ireland.

What happens if my order does not arrive?

If your order has not arrived in the expected time frame please check that the postman has not left you a card to arrange re-delivery or collection from the local post office/depot. Your parcel may also have been left in a safe place or with a neighbour. Please also check that the delivery name and address and email details are all correct on your order. If your order has still not arrived after 10 days, then please get in touch:

If you wish for peace of mind please select recorded (signed for) delivery at checkout as we cannot be responsible for missing parcels with no tracking although we always keep proof of postage. Especially in these difficult times please allow for possible slower Royal Mail delivery.

We regret however, that if you have not provided the correct delivery address in the website address box, we cannot refund for any parcels that do not arrive.

What if there is a problem with my order/something missing or faulty?

Please get in touch with us (this must be within 1 month of placing your order) and we will put things right for you. Keep the original packaging and items please as these may need to be returned to us. We will give you all the details when you email

I have changed my mind about an item/wish to change or cancel my order. What do I do?

Email us please as soon as possible. If your order has not yet been dispatched we will be able to help you.
